Agape Church History

Agape started as a Bible Study group in West London led by an American Missionary, Dr. Jeanette Storms. It was in 1985 when a small group of Filipinos started to meet and fellowship in different homes. The Bible group was started with a few songs, words of encouragement from the Word of God, and Prayer for each other. The group grew and decided to call themselves "Agape Christian Fellowship".

In 1986, because of the growing number of people, they started hiring a hall Earls Court where they could meet. The church grew, not only in number, but spiritually. Through this growth outreaches, house groups, prayer meetings, and there are even retreat outings that people participated in.

In 1989, God paved a way for Rev. Ricardo Bolus Jr. and Family to move to London. They were invited to work for the Centre for International Christian Ministries, of which Rev. Bolus served as the Dean of Student. At the same, they started helping in the ministry of the church.

By 1990, Dr. Jeanette Storms, the founder, felt called to return to the United States. After much prayer, on July of the same year the leadership of Agape Christian Fellowship was turnover to Rev. Bolus.
